Tonight we went to the farm with Brian so I took my camera to practice taking pictures. So here are a couple of My cowboys.

Last night we went to Taggarts Pumpkin patch with Grandma and Grandpa Harrison. Ridge had fun with Grandpa and his cousin Jade watching out for as he says "The Biga Bada Woof".

We went to Bear Lake a couple of times this summer, but didn't take many pictures. I guess we were too busy having fun.
Here Ridge is reading his elmo book to his monkey.
Here we are at the Ryan Shupe and the Rubber Band concert at Midvale City Harvest Days. It was fun.

Yes, we got Cruise back. The guy that bought him said that he was mean and bucked, but he wanted to keep him for another week to see if he got better. This was the second horse in two weeks that the guy had this problem with. So I told him we would just come and get him. He hasn't bucked with us, and Mindie rode him and she didn't get bucked off. So I guess we'll keep him, at least for a while.

Well, yesterday we did what we didn't think we would ever do. We sold Cruise the Wonder Horse. He has been part of our family for six years, so it was hard to see him go. He has sure been a fun horse to have. We hope the people that bought him have as much fun with him as we have, and treat him well. Goodbye Cruise.

We had a good 4th of July. We went to the pancake breakfast with Mindies family, and then to the parade. After the parade we went to the park for North Ogden Cherry Days. We watched some softball, and walked around for awhile. Later we had a bar-b-que, then went to the high school for fireworks. The weather was over cast all day, so it never got hot, it was so nice. Here we are at the parade.

Ridge is in the process of potty training, which is going okay. Here he is trying to figure out what to do with his elmo underware.

Here is Ridge after getting his hair buzzed off. He wanted it like his cousins. (Makade and Jaxon)

Here is Kash trying cereal for the first time. We think he likes it.

We went camping with Mindies family just outside of Downey Idaho the first weekend in June. We had fun swimming and riding 4-wheelers.

Mindie, Ridge and Kash hanging out at the farm.

We went to Delta for Memorial Day. We stayed at Justin and Carolyn's. We had a good time riding 4-wheelers and ponies. And of course going to the cemetary to honor and remember those who have gone on before us.

Last week my buddy at work said he had a goat that he had to get rid of. So I called My sister-in law Julie and asked her if she wanted it, and of course she did. (Who wouldn't want a goat?) But she couldn' t come and get it until the next day. So we said we would just keep it over night. My buddy brought it over right after work. We tied it up in the back yard and quite a few neighbors came to check it out. We are the neighborhood "Rednecks". Well everything was going fine, until Mindie sent me to the store at 8:30. When I got back at 9:00, the goat had escaped. It was getting dark and I ran down through all of the back yards on either side of us. No sign of the goat. I came in, told Mindie that the goat was gone, traded my boots for running shoes, grabbed my rope, and was out the door again. Julie was on her way to our house to check it out. I had seen some of the neighbors while I was on the hunt. They said they would send their husbands out to join the search party. Down the street and around the corner was a group of people standing around visiting. I hit them up but, they hadn't seen the goat (who by the way is named Scooter), since earlier that day when we got him. One of the neighbors is a policeman and said he would fire up the squad car, which has a spot light, and comb the area. But that wasn't necessary. Mindie got a phone call from another gal up the street and she said she had our goat. Some one had called the cops. So when I got there, Scooter was tied to the mailbox, surrounded by a dozen people, and had a spotlight from the cop car shining on him like a fugitive. I said thanks for catching my goat, and asked the officer if he needed me or Scooter to come with him down to the station. He said "no, I'm just glad I don't have to put him in my car. I don't know anything about goats." So I untied the rope from the mailbox and walked him home. He trotted along side me like a dog. We put him in Maggie's kennel for the night. And as far as we know he slept just fine.

Kash is three months old today. He is getting so big. He is smiling and laughing so much. It is so fun to see him get a personality. Ridge loves being the big brother. He is a good helper. He is getting big too.

Ridge turned 2 years old on the 9th of Feb. We just stayed home and had a party with him and Kash. We started singing Happy Birthday to him and he joined right in. We didn't even know that he knew that song. It was cute. He was excited most about his new boots and basketball. He blew out the candle three times. We are so lucky to have him. He is a fun little boy. We love you Ridge!

We took Ridge to the circus on Saturday. He loved it. He said his favorite thing was the "elowants", so we had to get a picture in front of them. He didn't want to go for a ride on them though. He also liked the ponies and the bear. He never took his eyes off of whatever was going on. We all had a fun time.

We are happy to announce the arrival of Harrison Kash Taylor. Kash was born on Monday, Jan. 26 at 7:11 a.m. He weighed 7lbs.12oz. and was 20 inches long. Mindie was having contractions all day Sunday. So at 7:30 p.m. we decided we had better go to the hospital. We sort of expected to be sent back home, but they kept us. She was the only labor patient there that night. She progressed slowly but surely. 12 hours later he was born. Everything went well. Mindie and Kash are both doing great. Ridge is excited to have a little brother. We are sure blessed to have two wonderful little boys.

Ridge got a new bike from Grandma and Grandpa Harrison for Christmas. He has been riding it in the garage, but since it is so cold we let him bring it in the house. He tipped over in classic three wheeler fashion and bumped his head. He cried for a second then went to his room. We thought he went to play with something else, and give up on the bike for a while. He came back out with this "helmet" on his head and climbed back on the bike. I guess he's no dummy.
